PetFusion Cat Scratcher Lounge Review
The cat lounger scratcher is amazing. I’m so happy that I was giving a chance to review it. We first got it back in July, right when we adopted our first kitten Albie. We wanted to get this for him as we decided not to declaw him. Growing up, my parents always had our cats declawed, but my husband, who is from England, it is actually illegal to declaw cats over there. After reading more on it, I realized it wasn’t what I had always thought it was, just taking a nail out. But more in fact they compare it to if you removed our last finger joint. So I could never do that to my little guy. At first Albie only used it as a lounger. When he was real small he could fit in and lay down in the bit inside, but now he’s much to big for that. For him, this is now just a place to sharpen his nails. But our other cat Ted, just LOVES this. He not only uses it as a scratcher but it is his favorite place to sit and sleep. A bit weird I think given we have so many comfy couches, chairs and beds for him to lay on, but, he always chooses to lay and sleep on the scratcher.
The price point for these is higher than I’d normally spend on something for my cats, but after getting to review it, I see why. It’s very durable and well-built and the cats just love it, and use it everyday, so that makes it worth it.
